If you are wondering what to eat for breakfast, then this is the perfect breakfast recipe or that is my opinion. I am serving this recipe everyday in the morning after my yoga routine and I got to tell you that it does its job. It gives me a full energy boost and full nutrient bomb. Forget about everything you have eaten until now. Try this. It is simple to make, it is healthy, it is incredibly delicious and you can even call it a homemade protein bar or homemade energy bar, cause it surely is.

Nutrition facts:

  • 750 calories

  • 42 grams of protein

  • 5 grams of saturated fat

  • 25 grams of unsaturated fat

  • 35 grams of sugars

  • 15 grams of fibre


The Chocolate Oatmeal Crust:

  • 2 eggs

  • 400 grams of oats

  • 50 grams of cacao

  • 600 grams of raw ripe bananas

  • 300 milliliters of milk

  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

The Cream Layer:

  • 1 kilogram of low-fat or non-fat cream cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

  • 100 grams of brown sugar

  • 300 grams of peanut butter


The Crust:

  • Preheat the oven at 170 degrees Celsius, mix well all the ingredients and pour the mixture in a baking pan lined up with baking sheet. Let bake for 10 minutes. Make sure that a crust has formed above and that it is baked enough to sustain the cream layer.

The Cream:

  • Mix everything well and pour over the crust. Make sure that all the crust is covered and put it back in the oven for 15 more minutes at 150 degrees Celsius.

  • When it's done, don't take it off the oven. Let it stay inside for 15 minutes.

  • Take it out of the oven and let it cool.

  • Put it in the fridge and let it stand for a couple of hours or, even better, for 24 hours

  • Cut in squares and serve!
