This recipe is absolutely fantastic and very simple to make. You can serve it as a nutritious breakfast or as a post-workout meal. It is healthy and bumped with protein and good carbs. I hope you will enjoy it as I did.

  • 567 calories

  • 36 grams of protein

  • 5 grams of saturated fat

  • 7 grams of unsaturated fat

  • 40 grams of sugars

  • 20 grams of fibre

Ingredients:

For the composition:

  • 3 eggs

  • 200 grams of oats

  • 500 grams of cottage cheese

  • 150 milliliters of milk

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

For the topping:

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons of honey

  • 2 apples

Instructions:

  • Mix all the ingredients from the composition list. I used a blender, cause it's much easier;

  • Heat a baking pan and brush it with a little oil or butter, than gently poor from the composition, depending on how thick or wide you want the pancakes to be. Be aware to let the fire on low to prevent the pancakes from burning;

  • When the pancake start to bubble, after 5 minutes, flip it and then leave it for a couple of minutes. After, form a stack;

  • When the batter is done, cut some apples, put them on top, poor some honey and some cinnamon;

  • Enjoy!
